A panel of judges has denied the appeal of former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor against his conviction for murdering Australian woman Justine Damond Ruszczyk. The three judges voted 2-1 in dismissing for former police officer's appealNoor is serving

, whom he shot once in the stomach when she approached his patrol car in the alley behind her home in 2017.The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that, a charge applicable in cases "for perpetuating an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved mind". Judges Louise Dovre Bjorkman and Michelle Larkin both ruled that Noor's actions met the legal threshold for a "depraved mind" when he shot Ms Damond Ruszczyk from inside his patrol vehicle.and sent his case for sentencing on the lesser second-degree manslaughter charge.

Noor can ask the state's Supreme Court to hear his case, although there is no automatic appeal, meaning the court can decline to take it.

Good.

Because his Muslim, and black may Allah help.

Guilty mate

Oh he be sucking dicks in jail now.

And he got convicted because he's a black man that shot a white woman.

This is the right thing, but just ask yourself honestly would his appeal have been unsuccessful if he had of been white?

Surprised BLM aren’t calling for him to be released immediately because you know.....umm....equality and shit.

Mr Noor needs to serve his sentence. Justine and her family deserve that.

I don't think race was really a factor in thus . Just a badly trained individual with a gun. Who trains someone to fire past your partner. His training and academic record need to be checked.

in my opinion this murderer gets what he deserves. However I agree with many comments on this matter if colour of skin was reversed, looting and pathetic so called protesters would destroy their own neighbourhood pretending it was a race crime.

Excellent!

very good news, particularly for Justine's family who have gone through an enormous amount of emotional pain.

I guess we are lucky it was a black cop shooting a white woman, not the other way round, or the outcome could have been vastly different It may not have even gone to court

I wonder why.

good hope he stays there for a very long time

Good

Shame there were no riots for her
