A serving police officer and one-time close friend of alleged killer Beau Lamarre-Condon has opened up about his intense, extravagant and at times bizarre personality.
Four days later, he handed himself in to police after allegedly trying to dispose of the couple’s bodies hundreds of kilometres away, first in a dam on a remote property and then next to a fence at a nearby property when the bodies wouldn’t sink., with whom they say he was obsessed, and that he had also killed Davies simply for being at the house.
The police officer described Lamarre-Condon as a “very intense person” with a “big personality” who would throw himself into everything 100 per cent and didn’t know how to be any different.Lamarre-Condon would visit his house frequently and they would drink together, sharing dating stories.“I think his intensity was part of what made me initially want to be his friend. He was full of energy and was funny, but the intensity he has with everything started to seem a little bizarre.
Police initially said Lamarre-Condon was in an on-and-off relationship with Baird – though one friend recently described it as a one-sided crush Baird struggled to shake.
