ANALYSIS | One issue is fast becoming a major vulnerability for the US President is immigration. A surge in migrants trying to cross from Mexico into the US at the southern border has given Republicans an opening, writes KnottMatthew

which requires asylum-seekers trying to enter the US from the southern border to wait in Mexico for their American court hearings.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has made clear he is concerned about the surge and that he believes it has been driven by the change from Trump to Biden. Some migrants have even shown up at the border wearing T-shirts, styled in the manner of Biden’s election campaign merchandise, reading: “Biden, please let us in!”

Like with Labor in Australia, Democrats are happiest when the public is focussed on issues such as education and healthcare. As a rule, it’s good news for conservatives when immigration is in the headlines. “This crisis is created by the presidential policies of this new administration. There’s no other way to claim it than a Biden border crisis.”

President Joe Biden makes 'damning' speech of the US to Congress | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says there is a 'fascinating indictment' of the liberal left after Republican Senator Tim Scott was 'set upon' on Twitter - for rebuking President Biden's claim America was systemically racist.\n\nMr Kenny's remarks come after President Biden gave his maiden speech to Congress to mark the first 100 days of office - a speech which President Biden, amongst other things, focussed on race issues.\n\n'The President also in those comments was pretty damning of the US, of what he calls systemic racism,' Mr Kenny said.\n\n'And that charge was taken on, head on, by Republican Senator Tim Scott in his official rebuttal,' Mr Kenny said.\n\n'It's a strange debate isn't it in the US at the moment , the white president proclaiming systemic racism, the African American senator defending his compatriots.\n\n'But there is a fascinating indictment of the liberal left here, the democrat supporters, or at least the opponents of Senator Tim Scott.\n\n'Because Scott was immediately set upon on Twitter as Uncle Tim, a racist riff off the Uncle Tom label of course.\n\n'This hashtag was trending on Twitter, and Twitter clearly didn't seem to have any problem with it. Ugly stuff.' Country founded by slave owners, built on slavery, spent a hundred years enforcing Jim Crow and segregation, couldn't possibly be racist because CK gets upset. Cry harder knobby. Didn’t he fuck a dog?

'Time to end the forever war': Joe Biden confirms withdrawal of US troops from AfghanistanPresident Joe Biden announced Wednesday it's 'time to end' America's longest war with the unconditional withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, where they have spent two decades in a bloody, largely fruitless battle against the Taliban. Good, now any updates of the crisis unfolding on the US/Mexico border? Its hardly been fruitless. US weapons manufacturing and Afgani heroin production has kept both countries economies afloat for the last 20 years.

US President Joe Biden pushes for ban on assault weapons after deadly Colorado shootingPresident Joe Biden called for a US ban on assault weapons on Tuesday after the country's second mass shooting in a week left 10 people dead in Colorado and sparked urgent new calls for gun control. Hypocrite People who live in the US have some type of psychological issue with guns. When I was living there, I was stunned how extremely few people could even slightly entertain the possibility of not having guns, even people who don't hunt, don't buy into any type of macho/survivor image
