A man was shot and wounded during a protest near a museum in New Mexico where demonstrators were reported to be trying to tear down a sculpture of a 16th-century Spanish conquistador.

A police spokesman in Albuquerque, the state's largest city, said the man was taken to a local hospital in"unknown condition" and that officers"are securing the scene". No further official details of the shooting were immediately available, the spokesman, Daren DeAguero, told Reuters by email. The Albuquerque Journal newspaper reported that the shooting erupted during a clash between protesters trying to pull down a statue of Juan de Onate and several heavily armed members of a civilian militia group called the New Mexico Civil Guard.

The confrontation occurred outside the Albuquerque Museum in the heart of the city's Old Town district. According to the Journal's account, one man involved in a physical altercation with the protesters appeared to draw a gun and fire five shots after he was pushed onto the street, sending members of the crowd scurrying for cover as one person yelled, "Somebody got shot."

It has begun. America's New civil war

Report on this anti-white SCUM!

Is this the police or an Army? In the US it is getting hard to tell apart...

After a minor scuffle, a group of vigilantes attack a man, then chase him, shouting ‘I’m gonna f*cking kill you you’ as he is taken to the ground. In defense he draws his weapon and shoots

heroic men will step up when cowardly police and corrupt leaders fail to do the right thing

Stop protecting war criminals, they shouldn't be revered.

The shooter violently assaulted multiple women and was chased off before he opened fire into a crowd.

The guy was getting attacked by a violent mob and hit with skateboards before he fired in self defence after trying to flee and was chased down. This is horrendous reporting.

Why the new US LGBTQI+ workplace ruling is more significant than legalising same-sex marriageExperts say the landmark ruling could prove more momentous than achieving marriage equality and have serious political implications for Donald Trump's re-election. Who really cares I don't ...stop pushing this agenda .. Yet another big mistake of the West. Laws should not protect behavioral characteristics or imagined things, above what's a common law To be fair, why would you want to continue working for a company that doesn't value your identity or respect your status as a gay person? There are so many other pro-LGBT companies to work for. It makes no sense to me.
