Pharmacists report vast numbers of people getting their flu shots early this season after the public is urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

For people who could not get vaccinated straight away because of short supplies, the advice was to book an appointment at your local pharmacy or GP clinic.

While pharmacies may be temporarily out of stock because of the early high demand, pharmacists were confident there were enough flu shots to go around. Monday would have been Ray Daniels's 74th birthday. But instead of celebrating, his Perth family are mourning their husband and father. "Our belief is probably that there is going to be a lot of stock tied up in medical practices that's not being released to community pharmacies — so that means there's people missing out on doses at the moment," he said.

The flu vaccine DOESN'T WORK on COVID-19!!!!!! Otherwise don't ya think that all countries around the world would be doing the same?

Since we are so much in isolation, how we going to catch the flu?

am I blind or does the story not actually say that?

Madness! Flu vaccinations are less than 50% effective against the flu (and 0% against COVID-19), but of all vaccines they have the highest % of adverse effects (including death).

The rona loves that stuff
