A flaw in wind turbine infrastructure resulted in UK taxpayers paying millions to shut down wind farms, according to Sky News contributor Kosha Gada.

“It’s this other example of a flaw in the infrastructure where they’re producing the capacity and the cables that transport it from the grids in the north … don’t have enough capacity to take them down to the south,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Normally technology has these types of kinks as it’s being developed … the problem is there’s so much intervention from governments and activists who push this out before it’s ready for prime time.”
