A five-year-old boy has been randomly punched in the face by a stranger in a shocking daylight attack in Sydney.

The boy, along with his nine-year-old brother and grandmother, were walking along Bridge Street in Glebe about 4.20pm yesterday. The trio were approached by a man unknown to them, who then punched the five-year-old in the face as he walked past.The boy fell to the ground and received bruising to his chin.The boy's grandmother contacted police to report the incident, describing the man as having a dark complexion, standing 170cm tall and possessing a thin build.

He had a dark beard and at the time of the assault was wearing a dark coloured jumper, long pants and joggers.

Poor children and grandmother who would have felt useless. I carry something with me always irrespective in case anyone harms children or grandchildren. Will never win against a man ,but will chase him to give best beating possible.
