Footage has emerged of Julian Assange after he walked free from prison amid a reported plea deal with the United States.

Julian Assange has been filmed boarding a plane in new vision released after the Wikileaks founder walked free from a UK prison following a reported plea deal with the United States.

In the footage Assange, dressed in jeans and a button-up shirt, confidently approaches the jet and ascends the stairs. Julian Assange boards flight at London Stansted Airport at 5PM Monday June 24th. This is for everyone who worked for his freedom: thank you.The 52-year-old reportedly will agree to a plea deal with Justice Department prosecutors which will allow him to be freed after he was facing criminal charges including allegedly obtaining, receiving and disclosing of classified information which appeared on the WikiLeaks site in 2010.

"Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there," the statement published to X on Tuesday morning said.
