Australia’s fireys have acknowledged the overwhelming support from the rest of the world during the bushfire crisis with a huge billboard in Times Square.

“Imagine fighting a fire higher than this billboard,” it reads in the video that went live on Wednesday. “Thank you to the brave Australian and US firefighters defending Australia. And to the world for all your support.”

We wanted to say a big "thank you" to all the firefighters who have worked so hard over the last few months, and to the community for its support. And when we say big, we mean big - 70 feet tall in Times Square, New York.

Um, great use of funds?

Such a shame its being used to push a false climate change agenda though, can people not see this?

I was thinking more like “Thanks for the Prayers.” I do love the people that risked it all to fight the fires. Ur welcome for the rain!

'Big change' in UK Government's attitude to Julian Assange and extradition to US, Jeremy Corbyn saysBritish Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn says he is surprised by what he sees as a shift in the British Government's position on Julian Assange and the UK's unbalanced extradition relationship with the United States. CredicoRandy Same old same old inane journalistic false balance by piss-poor ABC included near the end of the article, with the smearing of Assange with the lie that Russia hacked the DNC emails in 2016. Which BTW is irrelevant to the indictment, which is all about the Manning leaks in 2010. “The Prime Minister did not challenge my assertions on this, but seems to me to understand that there is a principle here that somebody who opens up and tells the truth, as Julian Assange has done, should not face deportation to the United States,' he said.”
