Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the federal government is making “a lot of political decisions” at the moment.

His comments come after Treasurer Josh Frydenberg delivered the federal budget on Tuesday evening, which saw big spending from the government.

“It’s just a very political document,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “They haven’t been too courageous with it, they’ve just extended stimulus measures that they think are popular.”
