Both Federal leaders are in Victoria pitching their policies on health, with potentially just weeks to go until the election. 9News

With May 11 now being tipped as the likely date for the Federal election, Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten are preparing to go head-to-head on the battleground of health. In a bid to turn things around, the Government will invest almost half a billion dollars to deliver world-leading cancer treatment for patients, along with other health initiatives.

Mr Morrison said $80 million would help create a new national cancer treatment centre at the Peter MacCallum centre, providing access to treatments involving T-Cell therapy, previously only offered overseas. This investment will be life-changing for so many of our sickest Australians, including many children battling cancer,” the Prime Minister said.

The Government says the centre will also create more than 140 new manufacturing jobs and 15 medical research positions. Meanwhile, Bill Shorten is also focusing on health today, promising to end the Medicare freeze early, making healthcare more affordable.

This racist, and all his racist enabler mates, has got to go. If the LNP want to keep the ALP out of seats. You would think they would have to preference one nation.
