The Institute of Public Affairs Daniel Wild says the 2020/2021 federal budget was not promising for Australia’s future, and was “further evidence of how destructive the lockdowns have been”.

“We did some modelling at the Institute of Public Affairs that looked at the long-term debt projections,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “What we estimated was that total debt is likely to peak in the year 2045 at $2.05 trillion. “That debt is unlikely to be paid back until the year 2080.”
