Sky News host Chris Smith says we've heard the words 'lest we forget' quite often today, however far too many in charge of Australia have 'forgotten how courageous we once were'.

Sky News host Chris Smith says we've heard the words 'lest we forget' quite often today, however far too many in charge of Australia have "forgotten how courageous we once were". "Well today means so much, to so many Australians, a dichotomy of pain put plenty of pride in there as well," Mr Smith said.

Mr Smith said both young and old appreciated the opportunity "they didn't have last year, when we were locked down," to celebrate Anzac Day. "But the smiles also represent the satisfaction of knowing that the spirit of the Anzacs, their courage and mateship, all of that lives on. "And yet in Perth, the city was in lockdown, without a dawn service, without a single march, or even time to plan for another sunrise at the end of the driveway.

Lest we forget that Chris got sacked for getting his cock out at a party and harrasing people

Mark McGowan no.1

The cowardly lying of Murdoch media is a constant reminder of what we fight against. Authoritarianism.

Never heard of him, didn't watch it, don't care.

How’s the Dog Chris

On the other hand, when I see women and men bravely speaking out about rape, abuse and injustice, often at great personal risk and cost, I am proud of how courageous we have become.

Far too many forget how murderously futile war is. Check out the new Minister for Defence’s warmongering rhetoric.

Sadly you have . I’m shocked the Australia I use to love gone and some as bad as us yanks

Are you suggesting it's time for another war, Chris?🙄

I hate to tell you Chris but Sky News Australia helped to put those in charge of Australia who have 'forgotten how courageous we once were'. Proud of yourself? 😠

'Statistics are on our side' to get 'vaxxed up': Chris Smith | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Smith says 'the statistics are on our side' on vaccines and Australians need to get 'vaxxed up', otherwise the entire pursuit is a waste of time.\n\nThe Therapeutic Goods Administration says it's unlikely the deaths of two New South Welshmen from blood clots are linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine as authorities continue to investigate their deaths.\n\n'Neither of the latest cases can be connected to the vaccine at this stage and you can't jump to conclusions, especially when the one from Sydney is 71 years of age and has also got a lot of underlying health problems,' he said.\n\n'I think you've got a ration that indicates... it's extremely unlikely you're going to get blood clots and it is even more unlikely you're going to be the fatality that will be part of these statistics.' The only statistics the vaccine will bring is massive amounts of $$$$ to big pharmaceutical.......nothing more nothing less and thats a fact One can make statistics say many things - depends how data is manipulated to suit a preferred outcome. Should know the saying ‘lies, more lies and statistics’. Then better give up cuz it ain't happening
