After buying the Rose & Crown Hotel in Parramatta for $42 million in March, Warren Livingstone has snapped up the Australian Hotel for $12 million.

Warren Livingstone, founder of sports tourism group the Fanatics, has beefed up his Highclere Hospitality portfolio for the second time this year after buying the 130-year-old Australian Hotel in McGraths Hill in outer Sydney for about $12 million.$42 million for the Rose & Crown Hotel in Parramatta in March.

“The Australian Hotel is perfectly situated in a growing region which has always piqued my interest,” Mr Livingstone said.“We look forward to getting our hands on the operation and working with the community to provide a new and exciting hospitality offering for greater Western Sydney.”Hotels in Sydney’s far-flung outer suburbs have become highly sought-after by operators amid a surge of capital into the booming sector.
