Trying to mimic a healthy bar 😂

Probably a cheaper alternative without reducing the price.

I would prefer the days where lollies were kept in glass jars and you had to watch your grocer friend stick his hand in the jar and put them in a paper bag.

yeah until we run out of trees...next month

Fr Canoogan opines: as the world turns (especially now that it's just past the last COP gathering of pretend concerned geo-corps), it isn't news seeing this latest bit of 'coming soon' green wash eco-scamming; Adverters know its already too hot for unrefrigerated chocolate bars

What about adding the km you need to walk to work the calories off? (The Mars Bar is about 3km.)

No

Used to be paper many years ago.

What a bizarre tangent this conversation took. I’d tell some ppl to take a chill pill but I’d probably get lectured on it’s packaging and long term harm on humanity

It's a nice start. No to get rid of the slave labour for cocoa and the enslavement, rape, torture, child theft and murder of cows.

I remember when supermarkets stopped using paper bags and went to plastic to 'Save the Trees'

Here's hoping this spreads beyond choccies. Most Aussies do the right thing at an individual level, but upstream decisions mean we use far more plastic and other non-recyclables than we should. It's about time manufacturers made the right choice, not just the profitable one.

Can second as emergency toilt paper, good old recycling again

Before writing this article, did anyone of you ask if those 'paper' packaging will be lined with plastic or is it 100% paper? If it is 100% paper, why does it need 'development'? How is this paper different? Is this another greenwashing stuff by a multinational company?

I'm not sure why freshness is an issue. I haven't had a Mars Bar go stale on me yet.

big if true.... peak clownworld

But the fact your product is very unhealthy doesn't matter.

Not the best colour scheme though.

A mars a day helps you work, recycle and play
