Wasn't a drag queen protest. The workers were harassed and abused in their workplace by this person.

What awful parents
I am very saddened by this. People make bad decisions, especially young ones. How I wish he didn’t take the final solution. Time and life experiences could have changed him. Now, he had lost that opportunity. I’m so sorry for his family and friends.

He was right, drag queens aren't for children and most people agree. There is an implicit sexual aspect to drag and parading them in front of children is wrong. Protecting children takes priority over hurting someone's feelings. I'd rather be a bigot than a pedophile
His compassion and sense of justice?
Little sympathy. He took a dozen goons to abuse a drag queen and frighten children. Getting a conscience after the fact doesn't make me think 'Oh what a nice bloke'.
It’s a pity it all ended so tragically, but he was a big time bigot. That’s for sure
