An Aussie family on a Mother’s Day walk found a gold nugget they believe is worth more than $35,000.
The father and his two daughters and dog, Lucky, were out in Bendigo, Victoria, when they spotted the nugget - but remain tight-lipped on exactly where. The family took their find to an IGA supermarket to see how much it weighed - and were told it tipped the scales at 634g.‘‘I actually walked right past it but my daughter pretty much kicked it as she was walking,” the man told the Bendigo Advertiser.
