When a young woman's Melbourne home was allegedly stormed by a youth gang, her mind went to her friend who was allegedly killed by teenage intruders.
A group of seven teenagers allegedly broke into a home and stole three cars - a Toyota Hilux, Subaru Forester and Honda - from Warrandyte Street in Warrandyte last month. A woman, who does not want to be identified, and six other members of her family had been asleep at the time and woke up to find their place ransacked.A home was allegedly ransacked and three cars were stolen from a home on Warrandyte Street. "They had tried to open drawers, car keys, cut some of cats toys.The woman's mind turned to her friend Ash Gordon, a doctor who was killed in Doncaster in January during an alleged robbery gone wrong.
The Honda was spotted a week later at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, where the driver allegedly failed to stop for police.The alleged stolen cars are believed to have been used to commit multiple other armed robberies and assaults.Four teens have now been charged, including a 13-year-old Springvale boy and a 16-year-old Doveton girl.
