Family and friends are paying tribute to the other victims in the crash that killed Kobe Bryant

Gianna, 13, known as Gigi, was following in her dad’s footsteps to become a professional basketballer before the terrible accident on Sunday.

The pair were travelling to a match for his Mamba Sports Academy in Thousands Oaks, California, for a basketball game she was expected to play in and Bryant was expected to coach.in Calabasas, northwest of downtown Los Angeles. They include John Altobelli, 56, his wife Keri and youngest daughter Alyssa, who played on the same basketball team as Bryant’s daughter. John Altobelli was the longtime head coach of Southern California’s Orange Coast College baseball team and was described as a “legendary figure in his own right” by LA Times deputy sports editor Mike Hiserman.

Too tragic! Statistics may say air crashes involving airplanes and helicopters are almost the same. It's simple knowledge that they are more vulnerable to mechanical/ natural/ human causes / errors. Just like that of a boat and a ship in a turbulent ocean.
