Facebook is set to restore access to news content after the Morrison government announced it will introduce a number of technical amendments to its media bargaining code. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg spoke to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg several times over the last two days, seeking to get the tech giant back to the negotiating table after it announced the banning of Australian news content from its platform.
