Labor spent more than $116,000 boosting attack ads using the page, criticising the Liberal leader’s record in government and his election policies. It is now showering key electorates in anti-Greens ads via another dedicated Facebook page ahead of Saturday’s Victorian election., the Labor-authorised Facebook page was mysteriously deleted last week. It was the second-biggest political ad spender on Facebook in the last month, trailing only Victorian Labor’s main party account.

Neither Labor nor Facebook’s parent company, Meta, had responded to requests for comment about whether the page was removed by the company or voluntarily deleted by the party last week.

Matthew Guy is not ‘great on TV’The Australian Associate Editor John Ferguson says Victorian Opposition leader Matthew Guy has had a “pretty good campaign” but isn’t “great on TV”. “That’s probably his biggest downside, he’s just not someone who naturally looks good on TV,” Mr Ferguson said. “If you can’t project credibly on TV, it’s very hard to win the confidence of a large number of people.” Being 'good' or not on TV is not a prerequisite for Premier. Being honest, being able to recall who made a decision that prematurely killed over 800 Victorians and not completely ruining an entire state while dividing its residents is. Better than Daniel Andrew’s 🤨 PutLaborLast
