Extra COVID-19 boosters 'a matter of urgency', says Prime Minister

Australia is expected to follow other parts of the world in expanding eligibility for a fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose to the wider population, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese calling it "a matter of urgency".Mr Albanese says the pandemic "isn't over" and encouraged eligible Australians to get their booster shot

"The pandemic isn't over, so my view is that [Australia] will inevitably follow what has occurred in other parts of the world and roll out a further booster shot," Mr Albanese told reporters on Wednesday. The Therapeutic Goods Administration announced on Wednesday it had granted two provisional determinations to Pfizer Australia for its vaccines, Comirnaty Omicron and Comirnaty Bivalent.

The new variants are evading immunity granted from both prior infection, and the 'very little, if any' from the previous three jabs. So we need everyone to get a fourth jab, because it will definitely work this time.

No they aren't. We know effectiveness fades in mere weeks, this is mainstream knowledge now. We should be focusing on treatment...
