Exporting sheep is a “life-or-death” situation for farmers in Western Australia who are dependent on exporting their products, according to Nationals Senator Matt Canavan.

“Their businesses are set up near the Indian Ocean to export this product to the Middle East,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“It’s something that’s incredibly in demand in the Middle East given their practices around slaughtering. “Without Australian sheep, they’re going to get the sheep from Africa, from other countries, it’ll be a negative for animal welfare.”

It is inhumane.

Live export is pretty life or death for the sheep, too. Many of them arrive dead, having been baked alive in hideous conditions on the journey.

Four youth detention officers were injured, including one suffering a fractured skull, after several detainees climbed a roof and threw chunks of masonry and metal at staff members. Why isn’t this already happening? And about bloody time ! What about the dregs who wreck the detention centre work on cleaning up their mess ? No ifs buts or maybes send in a dozen SAS troopers to make sure they do things properly for once in their miserable lawless lives 😡 Excellent idea!

Have you been watching the RobodebtRC I think we definitely need that nswicac report before the election. We just heard how a federal minister lied to the Australian people to protect his party. That’s a breach of ministerial standards. We need the truth. Good luck, Dom! You should be proud of yourself to keep as preferred premier despite of the current poll outcome. Don't forget Perrottet held the Public Purse strings for Berejiklian and Barilaro. 🥺

Perrottet has left a ‘huge black hole’ in Western Sydney infrastructure projectsNew South Wales Opposition leader Chris Minns says Premier Dominic Perrottet has created a “huge black hole” in the infrastructure plans for Western Sydney after ruling out privatisation. “He said, in recent days, it will all be paid for via debt,” Mr Minns said at the Daily Telegraph’s Future Western Sydney Summit. “We cannot ignore the fact that New South Wales has the highest debt that has ever been accumulated by any government in its entire history.” Birds of a feather...... As corrupt as his brothers ..! The Premier can't even get his little brother to turn up when he needs to. How is he supposed to run a whole state?
