EXPLAINED: The group of Aussies set for $4000 Centrelink bonus from this week

As of Wednesday, December 1, the maximum Work Bonus balance will increase from $7800 to $11,800.For more Personal Finance related news and videos check outSocial Services Minister Amanda Rishworth said she hoped the changes will help address worker shortages across the country.

“The government will also look to strengthen legislation to ensure pensioners who are working don’t get unnecessarily kicked out of the social security system.”Rishworth added the changes will give older Australians “the option to take up work if they wish to do so”.
