The odds of having clots after AZ may be very tenuous but how can one justify that when there is a better and safer option.

I don’t care how rare the blood clot condition is, it’s extremely unnecessary. We could’ve ordered more Pfizer as soon as we knew; still can if we want to save lives. 2 dead in 48 cases TGA says expect 18/1M doses. That’s ~150 more cases & 6 more deaths to go. Not risk-certainty

When is someone going to ask why we persist with AstraZeneca which has these risks, when there is a perfectly safe alternative in Pfizer? Supply of Pfizer is no longer an issue!

Its the gov screw up not procuring enough PH when they had the chance im not going to be one of the very few that die and leave my son with no family i find it irresponsible for people to encourage something when it can have dire consequences regardless of percentages

I am fearful of not being able to access appropriate specialist medical care in SA should I develop blood clotting symptoms post-AZ vaccination! Ambulance response times, ambulance ramping at hospital EDs, overcrowded, long wait times in EDs. Timely treatment is key to survival.

Reassuring ? unless your the one who dies so the gov digging it’s heels in as usual under Scott Morrison playing Russian Roulette with the Astra Zeneca Vaccine and our lives as opposed to simply using the safer option with zero issues ? Why

The experts can go jump. No Australian over 50 should be forced to play Russian roulette with a vaccine in the current environment. It’s not our fault the Govt has refused to improve quarantine. Pfizer is safer, more effective and all Australians should have access.
