White House Infectious Diseases Expert Dr Anthony Fauci says it is too early to call Australia’s vaccine rollout a failure but urged domestic health authorities to work on getting a “good flow into the arms of people.”

EXCLUSIVE: Dr Fauci says it is 'too early' to label Australia's vaccine rollout 'a failure' More than 145 million Americans have received the COVID-19 jab while Australia has administered just 2.4 million vaccines since the rollout began. Speaking exclusively to Sky News, Dr Fauci said when the United States began its vaccine rollout in December “we did not have a comprehensive plan of getting it into the community level”.

” Probed on whether it would have been wise to secure more vaccine doses from a wider range of suppliers, Dr Fauci said it was something he was often asked. “It’s sort of like what we call in the United States, Monday morning quarterbacking … you could have or should have, when things aren’t working as well as you’d like, you could always out guess yourself and say ‘should we have had more irons in the fire?'” he said.

He should probably concentrate on the USA with its high infection and death toll, not exactly in a position to give advice

Since when is he our health minister?

Great to hear it’s a failure. More people’s health and immune system will be preserved.

Bit harsh, Europe choked vaccine supply chain and under 50 cohort risk of blood clot ?

Ordered doses are not 'secured'. Is this the same as the doses secured but never actually secured by Morrison of the phizer? The secured but not secured Zeneca one? I call bs

Pfizer beats back variants as AstraZeneca receives a timely boostPfizer’s vaccine seems to offer good protection against the South African variant of COVID-19, while British data has given AstraZeneca a lift, in positive news for Australia’s vaccine mix. It's funny how humans are just being live tested without any liability What about this for real world? Seychelles vaxxed w/ vector vaccines AstraZeneca & Sinopharm. Az & Pfizer are in no way equals. mRNAs have proven far more effective ag variants, particularly the SA variant. Contrast w/ Israel. Australia’s vaccine mix was inappropriately skewed to AZ and CSL, Pfizer under ordered, and Moderna and others ignored. Now, we’re left with the immunocompromised getting the inadequate AZ, and the perfectly healthy getting Pfizer. Needs fixing urgently.

Rescue flights to pick up 17,000 stranded AussiesMore than 100 rescue flights will be sent around the world over the next year to collect about 17,000 stranded Australians – around half the people registered as wanting to come home | Gallo_Ways katinacurtis Gallo_Ways katinacurtis Excuse me? 100 flights to take a year? You have got to be fucking kidding me Those flights could be mustered in a day The only reason is that f'ing Scott Morrison and f'ing Josh Frydenberg are stingy xenophobes that represent other stingy xenophobes they don't want to piss off Gallo_Ways katinacurtis Let me guess. By Christmas. Gallo_Ways katinacurtis Stop it. Just stop it. How many broken promises have to happen before you stop reporting Morrison's bullshit as anything other than what it is? Take a look at the Libs' last twenty announcements. Try to find one that they've actually followed through on. How many will it take?
