‘Everything will work out’: Jackson confident Cambage will compete at Olympics

Asked if she hoped the issue would be sorted in time for Cambage to travel to the Games, Jackson said: “Hope? I know it will.”

The threat left Basketball Australia officials scrambling to get in contact with the WNBA star to confirm whether she legitimately intended not to travel. Cambage is currently in the US preparing with the Las Vegas Aces for the upcoming WNBA star. She has been a part of the Opals in the last two Olympics and is one of their most instrumental players.
