The gov’t shouled realised that if the pension dipped down further the gross effect is the health of these people that means the gov’t will have to pay more for health as there will be more ageing citizens soon. A healthy citizen means healthy nation!

Keep the governments out of it. No interference. Stick with, and promote, industry funds.

It would be good if the Government stopped meddling with superannuation so we can plan retirement with known rules. The amount you can contribute keeps reducing and billshortenmp plans to reduce it further. They see our $ and just can't help themselves ScottMorrisonMP

The biggest threat to retirement savings is the government. Labour sees it as a giant pool of their money to be raided for ever more spending

Government ‘involvement’ rarely fixes anything. But for a start, it could stop treating my money as it’s money. Then it won’t have to get ‘involved’ in funding my retirement.
