Why Jim Chalmers has people so stirred upOPINION: What’s the problem with the treasurer’s new economic model? Much of the business community and the media are sceptical of Labor’s answers. If they had more credibility in intervening in markets and achieving good outcomes, then this wouldn't be so much of an issue (and they wouldn't really need to say it either). But when you look at IR, child care, housing, energy & anything else ... it's a little terrifying dimjim

Jim Chalmers’ economy essay was ‘very lengthy’Hilma’s Network Founder Charlotte Mortlock says although she admires Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ “commitment” in his most recent essay on the economy, it was far too long. “There were quite a few gaps in the practicalities of how we actually turn that into something in government,” Ms Mortlock told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “I think 6,000 is taking it a little too far, I wish we had a bit of a middle ground there, a couple of hundred words perhaps, to really iron out some of his things there.” Leading with his chin. Business sector has driven shift to ‘values-based capitalism’, Jim Chalmers saysTreasurer hits back at criticism of his essay that championed co-investment and economic inclusion Yes all part of the WEF agenda that governments around the world obey to ensure the rich get richer and the people poorer. That is why covid was released to crush the economy and implement the great reset. 6 million dead and world is silent on origins. Nothing suss. This is embarrassing. The Hayne Royal Commission was only concluded in 2019. Nobody held to account since.

‘Good luck with that Jim’: Chalmers’ plan to remake capitalism despite high cost of livingShadow Cyber Security Minister James Paterson says it looks like Treasurer Jim Chalmers is trying to “scrap” Labor’s promise of stage three tax cuts amid his plan to “remake capitalism”. “Talking about how he’s going to personally remake global capitalism – good luck with that Jim,” Mr Paterson told Sky News Australia. “It’s very clear the Labor Party is crab walking away from this very clear commitment that they made at a time when Australians are struggling more than ever with the cost of living. “The benefits of the stage three tax cuts will flow to families earning as little as $120,000 a year, who have been counting on these tax cuts because they’re legislated. “So if they yanked it away at a time when inflation is running as high as it is, it’s going to seriously hurt family budgets and damage our tax system.” They would be dope. Doubt it though.

Chalmers described green energy investing the ‘same way’ as the CCPShadow Resources Minister Susan McDonald says Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ description of his plan to implement green energy investing is the “same way” the Chinese Communist Party described “new capitalism”. “I was surprised Jim Chalmers didn’t do a bit more googling to come up with some different language different to what the Chinese are using,” she told Sky News host James Morrow. “But these are policies that go against the very success of this nation. “We are a resources and export nation.” Jim is a hard line Communist, he takes orders from Beijing.
