Bain Capital’s understood to have tapped Goldman Sachs for help with advice and funding.

The field’s narrowing for private equity-owned Australian medicine and healthcare products company iNova Pharmaceuticals.Street Talk understands Swedish investment group EQT has dropped out of the race, as has its European rival Partners Group.

Sources said both had withdrawn ahead of the auction’s second round, which got underway last week. Bidders shortlisted for the second stage included private equity firms Bain Capital, Blackstone and TPG. Bain Capital’s understood to have tapped Goldman Sachs for help with advice and funding, while Blackstone has Morgan Stanley’s bankers in its corner.

Goldman Sachs’ appearance in the auction comes as little surprise; the Wall Street giant’s bankers sold iNova in 2017, on behalf of then owner Valeant Pharmaceuticals. The business fetched a $US930 million valuation at the time. Earnings are said to have increased to about $150 million a year at the EBITDA line, fuelling expectations of a $2 billion to $3 billion deal this time around.

Shelley was terrified of being 'outed' as Baby Roe, 'the living incarnation' of arguments against abortionJournalist Jonathan Prager spent years investigating the real 'Roe' family, to learn what it was like to be a child at the centre of Roe v Wade, the landmark abortion legal battle. The journalist should have asked her whether she was pleased she wasn’t aborted. Would have make it clear if abortion is a morally right thing to do or not This must be just awful for ABC, tee hee 😏👍

After all it is their constituents they are supposed to represent, not their own interests. Find other ways to take out their anger. They still have 5 staff members..... jamesmassola Well that’s just a bitchy tantrum then. So, they’d vote against their conscience just because they’ve lost their perks? Integrity? jamesmassola employing your friends makes it friendly

Oh bless, they think this is a wise thing to do, putting themselves above serious issues that need to be passed in parliament for the whole of the Australian people. THEN, going straight to the press to air their views. It's the me me me me me mob, been in power for 5 minutes. as if pouting ever worked
