In the world of the internet, once a question appears in your mind it can usually be instantly answered. Yet I quite like leaving a few questions sitting there in my head, sometimes for decades. In most cars it’s a huge dial, as big as the speedometer. I’ve driven both manuals and automatics and not glanced at it once.
I assiduously prevent lemon seeds going in the dishwasher and yet the spinning arms never work because they are perpetually clogged with lemon seeds. The seeds are impossible to remove, even if you detach the arm and subject it to all sorts of banging, sucking, flooding and tweezer work. Even if you never use lemons, the lemon seeds somehow get in there, clogging the mechanism. They’re like the crumbs that appear in the cutlery drawer of a household that never eats bread.
Can I go for another few decades without answers on these questions? It may be time for me to be put out of my misery. Perhaps you could help?
