Will it be parra-dise? 🌞 9WWOS NRL

The correlation between Mitchell Pearce’s month of magic for the Newcastle Knights and the return to form of boom fullback Kalyn Ponga is no co-incidence.

The combination has been spectacular over the past month with Pearce calling the shots and Ponga capitalising with 70 points from five tries and 25 goals. The pair have helped lift the Knights to four successive wins, their best performance under coach Nathan Brown, and an achievement that should guarantee a near full-house at McDonald Jones Stadium when the Knights play the Sydney Roosters tomorrow night.

It’s been lean pickings for the Knights against the Roosters in recent years, they’ve lost their past six games against them and they haven’t managed a win on home soil since 2015. But the Broncos showed last Friday night that the Roosters are not infallible and with State of Origin at the back of mind for a number of Trent Robinson’s men, an upset looms as a possibility.

McGregor has handed opportunities to Broncos recruit Jonus Pearson and rookie hooker Reece Robson as he attempts to kick start his team after it stumbled to 12th on the ladder.

Very nice......but ignoring the serious rascist problem in Australia yet again. I mean Australia’s biggest mass murderer.
