Another earthquake has hit off the coast of Western Australia near Broome.

The 4.4-magnitude tremor is the second to strike the same region in less than a week. At least 70 aftershocks have occurred since the previous 6.

6-magnitude quake rocked the north-west of WA. Authorities have confirmed there is no tsunami threat. Further aftershocks are likely but are forecast to decline in frequency and magnitude.
