Dylan Alcott and Heath Davidson have clinched another major championship following their victory in the Australian Open quad wheelchair doubles final.They defeated Andy Lapthorne and David Wagner 6-2, 3-6 [10-7] in the finalThe Australian top seeds beat Briton Andy Lapthorne and American David Wagner 6-2, 3-6 [10-7] on Margaret Court Arena to claim their fourth consecutive doubles title in Melbourne.Alcott said winning alongside his close friend Davidson added significance to the victory.

"I get to play tennis with one of my best mates," said Alcott, who also won 2016 Paralympic gold with Davidson in the quad doubles. "Not many people can say that. We don't just hang out in tennis, we hang out in everyday life, too. It's the 20th anniversary of us meeting this year.Loading
