Dua Ali's death at a Sydney hospital has left her family seeking answers — and Labor says it's evidence of a health network in 'crisis'.

Mr Minns' federal Labor colleague, Campbelltown MP Mike Freelander, is a paediatrician who has worked in public hospitals for around 40 years."When we say the system is broken, it doesn't mean it never works, what it means is there is enormous pressure on junior staff to get people in and out very quickly," he said.

"So the system increases the risk of mistakes happening, of accidents happening and of care not being to a standard we would all expect." "A record 10,148 full-time equivalent staff will also be recruited to hospitals and health services across NSW over four years, as part of the NSW Government's 2022-23 Budget," they said in a statement.

Perrotet gaslights 'There are always going to be challenges in respect to the health system, there always are and there always will be.' Thereby declares no intention of fixing mistakes. Calling them challenges doesn't fix them or justify them.

Maybe some words about the mistakes and responsibilities of doctors and nurses wouldn't be bad. I saw w my own eyes that it's not always burn out but also a fair bit of incompetence.

people still place the burden squarely on frontliners. Generals die in bed. It is the health department bureaucrats & execs & politicians who are the ones putting HCWs at such crises on the frontlines with execrable health (mis)management.
