WEATHER ALERT | A road weather alert has been issued by BOM for Sydney — saying the fog will affect most suburbs in the city so take care out there, folks!

The M4 at Parramatta was affected by “unusually heavy fog” according to Live Traffic NSW, as was the M1 Pacific Motorway from Kariong to Mooney Mooney.Those taking flights from Sydney Airport should check with their airline about possible delays.Virgin Australia warned of possible flight delays in Sydney due to the fog.

According to the BOM, the fog will clear by about 8am after sun rise, but pockets could linger in northwestern parts of the city.Bright, sunny weather is forecast for the rest of the day, with a top of 25 degrees and light winds in coastal areas.
