The popular TV doctor,67, was on Sunday found dead on the Greek island of Symi, five days after he was reported missing by his wife of 37 years Dr Clare Bailey .
In an interview with the UK’s The Telegraph in April, Dr Mosley said he wished to live to see his grandchildren grow up since his diabetes-stricken father died aged 74 and never had the chance.“He hadn’t seen his grandkids grow up. I thought, that’s not a road I want to go down.” “Now in my mid-to-late 60s, I am quite happy to go on writing and giving public speeches and making telly and podcasts.”
Dr Mosley was no stranger to candidly sharing information about his own life experience, having been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2012. One woman took to X to pay tribute to Dr Mosley in recent days and wrote people should “embrace each day & strive to live our best lives fully” in his memory. His bag was found uphill from his body at the location, about a 30-minute walk from where he was last seen in Pedi.
