NASA is set to launch its fourth Mars rover mission today, while China launched their own Mars mission last week. But with two global superpowers looking to explore other planets, does this mark the beginning of a new space race?

Another entrant to Mars exploration — the United Arab Emirates — also recently launched an orbiting satellite with the technological help of the US.

"But you are comparing apples and kumquats. This is a major moment for Chinese space science — it's their first interplanetary probe going beyond the Earth's moon system. "Only NASA has managed to land safely on the Martian surface," said space journalist Andrew Jones, who is monitoring China's space program."For a first attempt, it's a tall order."By contrast, Perseverance will be the fifth rover to land on Mars after missions in 1997, 2004 and 2012.

Australia-US looking to ramp up joint military exercises in South China SeaAustralia and the United States are set to conduct more joint military exercises in the South China Sea following Canberra's decision to brand China's territorial claims unlawful at the United Nations. Don't do it Australia you are not a power house when it comes military, USA pretending yous are mates because they're gunning for war. Looks like Jared’s met his Australian counterpart. Two of the world’s emptiest puppets meet up for a MENSA convention. Very foolish game that we have no right to play. US is in the wrong on this unilateral escalation and we would do best to stay away and advise them to pull their head in.

The entire globe is ‘in a debt hole’ but hopefully not to China | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Paul Murray says the whole world is in a financial hole, which could provide seismic difficulties if China is the country which buys the debt.\n\nAccording to the IMF global debt this year will hit its highest recorded level at 15 trillion USD.\n\nThe total debt will surpass 100 per cent of global GDP as governments borrow extensively to support their economies through the health crisis.\n\n“The whole world is in a hole; who is buying that debt, who owns that debt, which country might be buying that debt? We know it’s China,” Mr Murray said.\n\n“But if the world goes deeper into debt, the world goes deeper into hock, the question is; who are we in hock to.”\n\nImage: Getty Let China buy the debt, then refuse to pay them and call it compensation. Lets start with the US.. Americans own 70% of the debt * Federal Reserve $2.38Trillion (11.2%) * US Government $5.73T (27%) * US Investors $6.89T (32.5%) * Foreign investors own the rest $6.21T (29.3%) and it looks China already has the biggest share..something like this. Australia hoping Trump wins the election is a risk or not? I would hope my home land was not run by a bunch of idiots. The first country out of the gate to follow Trump, tells you that no thought has gone into this stupidity. SKY backing war with a country that feeds it. 😂
