A decision to block children from viewing the Muppets due to “negative stereotypes” has left viewers in an uproar.

Anyone watching the adventures of Kermit the Frog and Missy Piggy on Disney+ will now see an alert about the show’s “stereotypes” and “mistreatment of people or cultures”.

The move was revealed when Disney recently made five series of the classic show available on its streaming service Disney+. As the show begins, a disclaimer appears which reads: “This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures.“Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together.”Me: Can't wait to sit back, relax and enjoy some Muppets

OMG ... but you can have men walking into women's toilets dressed up as girls & its suppose to be OK... LWTF

We Gen XYers grew up on these kids shows and today the western world has never been less racist. Systemic racism claims today are rubbish

Leave Fozzy alone !!!

The world has literally gone mad... the muppets rule!

It a sad sad world. We keep letting minorities with loud voices rule us. I know I am typing on twitter but, it is all social media that has given idiots a voice. Personally we would be better without all of it.

whaaat?! has disney seen it's own movies

So does Gilligans island

When is this PC crap going to stop? When are organisations and individuals going to grow a spine and take a stand against this snowflake crap. You know what happens when you get upset. NOTHING, absolutely nothing. Now grow, move along and stop whining.....

When was season 5 with Johnny Cash? I am so sick & fucking tired of all these fucksticks judging historical works under bullshit PC standards of 2020/2021. Times change, but the videotape of the show from the 1970's stays the same.

Soft cocks. Not forgetting the cock could these days be on someone identifying as female. Or as a mutant Martian.

Duh ? 1 Nothing is blocked, its just a message 2 If a child could read and understand the message they will not be watching the program. Disney+ has about 95million subscribers, and starting to become a competitor to Binge, expect to see more silly articles about Disney+

Left cancel culture- coming to Australia soon PushBack

its not blocked. its just a disclaimer.

Not all bears are extroverted hat wearers, and not all pigs have voracious sexual appetites. Glad that Disney is finally setting the records straight.

it's the domestic violence from miss piggy isn't it

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
