The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority annual snapshot details how the 2021-22 summer led to a mass bleaching event of coral.

It is the fourth mass bleaching event in seven years on the reef and the first to occur under La Niña conditions.

Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority chief scientist David Wachenfeld said the good news is that early signs suggest a low mortality rate.

Stop lying. No wonder people just hate MSM and their corrupt journalists.

Here's an idea, lets build a coal loader there

It's not ScottMorrisonMP job to do anything with the reef. Looking at how concerned the coalition is about the reef, if the reef is no longer there, then there will no longer be any concerns, and no action will be required to address those concerns. auspol

Shame on you juliebishop

No it doesn’t. It said 90% bleaching in the most affected regions around Townsville. Different parts of the reef are affected in different ways and percentages. This statement is pure hyperbole. However the statements made should be should regard more of the potential of bleaching

bullshit

FACT CHECK : BULLSHIT

Interesting. When I told my Greens councillor that Brisbane was cooling he told me that's because of La Niña condition, a natural event. Because in Greens heads when it goes up it's my fault but when it goes down it's not.

Climate crisis: what lessons can we learn from the last great cooling-off period? The ‘little ice age’ of the 14th to the 19th centuries brought cold winters to Europe and unusual weather globally. Studying how humans adapted could be valuable I'm all for lowering emissions, and leaving the place better than we found it. This here is why I can't take the 'keep warming to X°C' crowd seriously. We have no control over too many variables.

Great grandmother left two hours in cold outside SA emergency roomA 92-year-old great-grandmother has been left outside a South Australian hospital for two hours in cold conditions due to a COVID-19 testing mistake. Is this part of a policy from the change of Government? What an absolute disgrace they could treat an old lady like that. Tipping if it was a politician or one of their mum's it would be different...there is absolutely NO excuse to leave an elderly person in that situation
