Well before alternative housing, tiny homes or recycling were common, Ken Aitken spent his days driving the streets looking for piles of rubbish from which to build his dream home.

"Ken's done the best he can but of course it would be better if those buildings were still standing," he said.Ken salvaged material from:Woolscour sheds at Stafford Rex Theatre in Fortitude Valley

Dr Ford said Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen was notoriously known for authorising the demolition of some 60 city buildings in Brisbane during the mid-1970s and late 1980s during his time as Premier."It is a shame because once those buildings go you lose that connection to the past. Photos of the buildings are not the same as getting a feel for the past by being inside.

"When Ken first started this, I thought 'this is exciting because we can not only salvage something that's important, we can keep it for posterity'."

KnottMatthew James need to not be a sciencedenier Tony__Heller FriendsOScience KnottMatthew ClimateCrisis KnottMatthew I’m calling BS on James' little outburst of confected outrage. It seems to me more likely part of a concerted effort to try to show they get it, when they never will. Ultimately the bastards have nowhere to hide.

Put bubbles in their sparkling wine? Drink lemonade? Have they removed all use of concrete? Zero emissions = death. but water vapour is also greenhouse gas.
