Sky News host Rita Panahi says Victorians have been demoralised so much they’re grateful for the “smallest of mercies” as Melbourne exits lockdown four to enter “lockdown lite”.

“Lockdown 4.0 may be formally over, but it’s been replaced with lockdown lite; with harsh restrictions that are illogical and full of contradictory advice,” she said.

“In Melbourne, formerly the world’s most liveable city, you can visit the drug injecting room in Richmond but not a gymnasium. “By now, the only people not questioning these contradictions and blindly supporting livelihood and liberty destroying measures are those who have been scared witless.”

A large mercy would be to rid the news cycle of Rita.

When she talks about the smallest of mercies..she means james merlino is alot better to listen to than Dan and James is on 2 foot 1 inch tall..in another place he would be a midget

Demoralised too by negative whinging journalists.

A msg for Rita & NewsCorpse

Rita is wrong… about everything really.

Adults know the reason for the rules and follow them We always have our tiny group of whining winging children chorused by the tiny minority The fake concern just a thinly veiled attack on Labor in Victoria if it were NSW well she would say ' a gold standard of health care '

Froth, spittle, blather

Remembering that Rita is an intellectual lightweight.

If we put this government back in to suck what’s left of life out of Victoria, we are toast!

Murdoch’s little bitch Rita. Victoria would be a much better place without you in it

Fuck off sky news..

Classic psychological control .. they are out of control..

All part of the plan. pseudolockdown

Panahi and her RW f wits can't have it both ways. They criticise the Gov for the lockdown and then criticise it for people slipping through and entering 2 states, while being infected!!

No RitaPanahi We are demoralised by the RWNJ media commentators such as yourself and your dopey sidekick sophieelsworth who make us batshit crazy.

Rita Panahi stop pretending to speak for all Victorians MurdochGutterMedia

Once protesters can protest without the fear of being locked up +/or fined it will be on in Victoria.

There's that fukin Dog Barking again RitaPanicky triggered again

Rita who?

Rita is immoral as much as she is ‘balanced’. So what’s the point of broadcasting her BIAS? Will Scott Morrison or Tudge, give SkyNews a call TO STOP BEING BIASED - IN LNP’s FAVOUR? Auspol danandrews viclockdown 4corners QAnonPM

How can you live with yourself lady.

It's been a rough 18 months. No doubt about that. Matters have been politicised. Unhelpful! Victorians & Australians generally are a far more resilient lot than what some who work in the media would have you believe.

Release the E10DN dossier

This is such a poor excuse for why you are being thrashed in the opinion polls. Just a word of advice Labor was focused on beating COVID while the Liberals were focused on conspiracy theories about Daniel Andrews' injury. Which one do you think the public care about?

That well known Trump devotee.

Here we go again. Sky fruitcakes mad at Victorians for doing what needs to be done without launching into an anti-Labor thrash about like they do.

Rita who?

Rita has been known to tell lies

'Inexperienced and uninformed' Mark McGowan should stay out of foreign policy | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says there's a reason the Australian constitution does not assign foreign policy to 'inexperienced' and 'money hungry' state premiers like Mark McGowan who'd 'sell out' our values in desperation for China's cash.\n\nThe remarks come after the WA premier slammed the PM for standing up to China and warned his stance could jeopardise his state's trade relations with the foreign superpower.\n\n'There is a reason our constitution assigns foreign policy to the federal government, money hungry state premiers, inexperienced in foreign affairs and uninformed by national security briefings really ought to stay out of it,' Mr Kenny said.\n\n'I don't reckon that Western Australians would be too keen on this country selling out its values and national interests in desperation for China's cash.\n\n'Mark McGowan is just being what the communists would call a useful idiot for Beijing.' Federal government has a 'problem' selling their Medicare changes | Sky News AustraliaThe Spectator Australia's Terry Barnes says the federal government has made a problem for itself by giving a very short read time into implementing their changes to Medicare - allowing Labor to run another 'Medi-scare campaign'. \n\nThe remarks come after changes were made under the Medicare Benefits Schedule which will affect orthopaedic, general and heart surgery, and come into effect on July 1.\n\n'The problem the government has made for itself is it's announced these changes and put a very short read time into starting it, which is the 1st of July,' he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\n'They haven't really thought about how they're selling it and Greg Hunt who's usually a great micromanager I think has had a bit of other things on his plate like the pandemic and hasn't really thought about how this is being explained and sold.'\n\nMr Barnes said if the health minister and the prime minister get on top of this and possibly even extend the implementation of the changes - they could inform people Medicare is not going and prevent Labor getting away with another 'Medi-scare' campaign.\n\n How can it be a scare campaign if it's true? Liberals will destroy anything that the labor party implement without a thought for ordinary Australians health and well-being APS takes hell lot of time to reply to our job applications and sure they must be expecting for few years to read. Still ‘no chance’ of a ‘remotely proportional’ COVID response from Victoria | Sky News AustraliaOne year on and there’s still “no chance” of a “remotely proportional” response to COVID-19 from the Victorian government, according to GT Communications’ Liz Storer.\n\n“It’s just absolutely unbelievable,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\n“None of this makes sense and they keep hiding behind the skirts of COVID.\n\n“Where’s the scientific proof for any of these ridiculous restrictions that you’re putting in place?”\n Agreed 100%, the muppets running the state are hopeless *Federal Government…you meant to write Federal Government. If Liz doesn’t know by now that numerous experts from The Burnet Institute, Melbourne Uni and The Doherty Institute are providing scientific advice to the Victorian government she really shouldn’t be on telly talking about it.
