The road to 2020 is heating up, with frontrunners with Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders facing off for the democratic candidacy in the third debate held in Houston, Texas.

Out of the 10 presidential hopefuls who took the stage, all eyes were on Biden, Warren, and Sanders - the three frontrunners for Democrat nominee.

During the three-hour fiery debate, gaffe-prone Biden avoided embarrassment, Warren and Sanders sparred over healthcare, and some unexpected candidates seized a chance to steal the show. Image: AP
