“I feel like I have been deceived,” Tilson said. “Biden and the people around him have been deceiving the American people.“I am deliberately calling it a Big Lie because this is as big a lie as Trump’s Big Lie,” he added, referring to the former president’s claims that the 2020 election was rigged. His comments come as pressure continues to build on the 81-year-old to quit the race for the White House. His poor showing sparked concern from the Democratic party’s major donors, who have blamed the president’s inner circle of advisors for encouraging him to stay on. But it is not just megabucks Democrats who are worried about whether the former senator for Delaware can manage another four years in the biggest job in the world.
