This is heartbreaking. How does one cremate and grieve for a loved one, knowing that without this virus, they could have lived for many more years. It's devastating.

Most of these deaths aren't due to COVID, neither does the ABC claim so, but due to lack of oxygen/steroids. In a developed country 80% of those dying would've survived. A very respected doctor in India yesterday said on national TV that COVID is common cold.

And the numpties want to import it directly here ffs

Where are they getting all this timber from for the pyres?

That happens when a religious fanatic government is in place. When ignorance of general public win the knowledge and wisdom of minority. What a sad situation.

And people want to bring that home to the rest of us? Get real.

I hope Alan Jones is listening to your broadcasts.

Why were they allowed to hold mass gatherings for religious ceremonies?

260k deaths of 1.5billion, this is a shithouse headline

The crisis is overwhelming hospital and medical staff as well as mortuaries and crematoriums. The high plateau is reflecting the max capacity of testing resources and the absolute limit of people coming to test due to poverty and distance to the test site. They need more cow urine and cow dung India ranks 110th in the world for covid deaths per million. I guess not part of narrative though. Awful whats happening but context needed
