South Australia will further ease restrictions from midnight on Friday which will see dance floors return for the first time since March last year.

People will be allowed to dance and drink in venues holding up to 200 people.

The state will also lift its border with Greater Melbourne meaning Melbourne travellers will no longer be required to undergo COVID-19 testing.
