It looked at that point as if she could follow in the footsteps of her fashion designer mother — Mr Trump’s first wife, Ivana, who was born in Czechoslovakia.

Standing at 1.8m tall, Ivanka made a striking impression on the runway where she walked for major fashion labels like Versace.
