NBN reported the incident was triggered when an aerial cable was damaged, with work delayed because of a major intersection.

NBN customers in the Brisbane suburb of Bardon finally have their internet service reconnected since outages from Good Friday.

Crews worked into the night on Friday, a week after the initial outage, restoring the service about 10.15pm using a mobile elevator called to the repair site, an NBN media spokesman said.The NBN service crashed on Good Friday, returned on Easter Saturday and crashed again on Sunday, local users told“There’s been an NBN outage in Bardon for almost a week now. First outage was on Good Friday and lasted till some time Saturday, only to go out again on Sunday and be out ever since,” one said.

On Friday night, NBN reported that the incident was triggered when an aerial cable was damaged last Wednesday.
