The government in sick this in their ass ass I'm not sticking in my phone as it's a tracking out and it violates my absolute right to privacy.

According to Perthnow, the take up of this app is around 4 percent. I’m thinking the government has a trust deficit! The same as this media outlet !

I wil NOT be downloading it

Just be careful of downloading FAKE apps. Make sure it’s the real deal you are downloading.

The media outlets, and their spokesmen, who worked as propaganda arms to roll out this Orwellian nightmare will have a special place in the new world!

Tell me what happens if authorities are notified that I have been 1.5 m from an infected person for 15 minutes. Do they tell me? Why? What do I then do? See a doctor for a test? After how many days? Self isolate for 14 days? Total lack of information.GregHuntMP stuartrobertmp

Download numbers as a criteria for decision making is incredibly stupid and ignorant way to manage the covid19 situation. 'The government says some social restrictions could be lifted if enough people take up the app.' 'rushed to download' based on imagination? Numbers please

So they are after at least 40% of the population. so what's that number 8million 9 million 10million people .. DELUSIONAL FirstEdition Amagenda BreakfastNews Sun7 9Today

How are the health authorities tracking those without a smartphone ? 🤔

BULL AGAIN! Not tacking me thank you I don't live in China (I think?)

I feel safer already. Thanks government.

Good way of seeing who is a f**kwit and who isn’t. Only a f**kwit would get this app and let the government track them. MyGov app is dubious as well if you didn’t know.

I know no one who will touch this app

Thanks .. But no thanks !!😡

No thanks to Big Brother

Yes I'm rushing to be tracked, immunised and barcoded

Next automatic update switches on GeoLocation.

The stupid gullible Australians have

Exercise your HumanRightsViolations and understand that the Government is a corporation ,,,Mustwatch australaiinlockdown

It shows how the masses run for their $750 dollars and to see what they can talk about next. Wake up Australia. Rubberneckingsyndrome covid19iso stayathome$750

*rushed lol. I guess it’s all over then lift all the restrictions like promised

Rushed to download it I think not

The app requires Bluetooth to be on constantly - how is this not a privacy concern? Tracking? Tracing? Big Brother watching?

Absolutely, Too bad for all the 70-80 plus year old who are not computers or smartphone savvy. They're the irrelevant Australians?

No Thank you

'rushed' Quick sheep, FOMO!!! Hand over your privacy, freedom and civil liberty, for the illusion of 'security', and you shall receive NONE. This is a one way street, and once you head down it, there is NO return. 1984HasArrived GovernmentIsTheVirus YourGovernmentDespisesYou

I say BS! !! Fake false news reporting. This ia a gaffe just to try convince the Australian public that most are downloading. Pure speculation, pure propaganda.

Let’s open the gates for computer viruses on top of the biological ones.

Thanks Sky, I am sure this actually happened

COVID-19 is ‘nowhere near as bad’ as the government has ‘been peddling’ | Sky News AustraliaSocial commentator Prue MacSween says the people who are “getting into a lather” over the new COVID Trace app are the very people who engage with the government through the ATO, Medicare, and “mindlessly share their whole lives” on social media.\n\n“if we come down with the virus, wouldn't you want to warn the people you love and others who may have been exposed to you for 15 minutes or more,” she said.\n\nMs MacSween noted if the country is truly serious about “eradicating this scourge that has killed around 76 Australians,” then why would any “sound minded person not want to download it”.\n\nMany people, including federal politicians Llew O’Brien and Barnaby Joyce, take issue with the app while “going on about Big Brother”.\n\nFellow panelist Cory Bernardi the virus may be “nowhere near as bad as what they’ve been peddling for all this time,” and now Australia has been forced to “go into lockdown, destroy economy, destroy our freedoms, and get tracked by the government”.\n\nImage: Getty That social commentator is clearly out of touch.
