As Australia’s vaccine rollout program begins to hit its strides, more than 16 per cent of the over 16 population are fully vaccinated.

Australia’s vaccine rollout has been boosted over the past few weeks after the Morrison government secured an early release of the Pfizer vaccine with shipments coming in at a rate of one million doses a week.

More than 1.1 million doses were administered in the past seven days, and 1,426,038 jabs were received in the last 10 days. With all Commonwealth residential and aged care facilities having now recieved both their first and second doses, more than 75 per cent of Australia’s over 70s population have received their first dose while 37 per cent are fully vaccinated.

After Australia’s largest city, Sydney, followed soon after by the entire states of Victoria and South Australia, went into lockdown, pressure mounted on the federal vaccine program.

Still last

I prefer ramping up sky ive got used to that over the last 3 months

11% of the 16% have only had 1 shot.....

So up to 84% remain unvaccinated?

It’s like when I put my foot down in a Yarris, sure it picks up speed, but it’s still pretty slow and shit. Scottythefukwit VaccineStrollout MorrisonVaccineCrisis

16% wow

princefabriz1o this is so funny

We are still almost at the bottom of the heap in vaccination rates. Looks like we will be waiting a couple of months for adequate supplies.

SkyNews desperately trying to paint cheap lipstick on the Morrison pig. 84% of Australians not fully vaccinated & half the country in lockdown because this LNP govt is so incompetent. Yah, but 16% vaccinated. Failure…

‘Hits its strides’ 1. Actually wrong 2. Grammatically wrong 🙄

Sky Australia be like - praise your leader.

16%. Pathetic.

Wow, if Albo had a 16% approval rating, you'd plaster it everywhere as an abject failure! The only transparent thing about the Murdochracy is its blatant propaganda for the LNP!

The ever obedient Sky News reporting FakeNews again. Here's actual footage of Australia’s vaccine rollout program hitting its strides...

‘Hit its strides’ is straight from Morrison’s bullshit script. There are 84% of over 16yo not vaccinated yet (ie 2 doses)!!! THAT’S the key point.

Peter_Fitz is 100% correct The coverage on Skynews about vaccines has been shithouse. Watch....

Hi social media kid. It must be bloody embarrassing to type this crap out. Do you have no self-worth?

'Over a year and a half into the global pandemic, more than 16 per cent of the over 16 population are fully vaccinated!'

So much winning. Australia now only just 18th in the world... a little bit behind Mexico. So glad it's not a race.

NSW records two more COVID-19 related deathsThe death toll from Sydney's latest COVID-19 outbreak has risen to 10 after two further deaths were reported on Monday afternoon. yes horrible for those familes but both elderly. NSW lost nearly 300 people to road trauma alone last yr My guess is not vaccinated. Covid kills the unvaccinated. How many deaths are acceptable? Before Covid it was the flu pneumonia bronchitis upper respiratory infections and sinus infections and unfortunately if you are elderly or have a compromised immune system it can be dangerous.

Crackdown on online COVID-19 misinformationSocial media companies have been clamping down in Australia on misinformation spread about COVID-19 vaccines, treatments and the virus. 9News That's great now the msm need to ensure they are reporting the facts and not some BS they have invented. I'm surprised they have not faced legal action over the rubbish they spread regarding the AZ vaccine I have yet to see any result that proves this to be so. So the censorship is going to be even more extreme, even more widespread. Alas, freedom of ideas and opinions and judgment…you were lovely but people didn’t care about you anymore and you’re gone.

Apartment complex in Sydney's west under police guard after diagnosis of COVID-19 casesPolice say several police officers are guarding the Blacktown apartment block after being called by NSW Health to provide support. Were they just leaving when they wanted to? where is the outcry as happened in Melbourne? Would the same thing happen in Artarmon or Chatswood? Or surrounds? No, then why attack others in this way? Is it because they are not rich?
